Karen Storey

When I set up Homespace in 2007, I realised an ambition to combine organisational skills learned from many years working in the law with a long-standing interest in design.

Whilst practising as a solicitor in London and New York and teaching university students, I also took classes in subjects such as interior design, decorative paint effects and ceramics. But it was only with the discovery that TV’s House Doctor, Ann Maurice, ran training courses that I realised how I could bring these two aspects of my experience together to help people make the most of their homes.

Whether the object of a project is to make sure a property looks its best for sale, to declutter a crowded house or simply to improve the way owners enjoy their homes, I get a great sense of achievement helping clients to fulfil their aims.
